SAVE OUR PLANET GO VEG! BE GREEN

Research by University of Chicago geophysics professors Gordan Eishel and Pamela Martin concluded that going vegan for one year saves 1.5 tons of emissions relative to the standard American Diet, 50% more than swithcing from an SUV to a Toyota Prius.

I recently watched EARTHLINGS and after 20 minutes the cruelty of animals was too much to bare. I urge all non vegetarians to watch this as I cannot see our Planet's level of consciousness rising very much whilst there is such great slaughter of our fellow beings.

This is a message to all humans who say they are "Spiritual", if you are not a vegetarian you are NOT "Spiritual" I am sorry to say. How can someone even contemplate on saying that they are healers, people of the light, light beings, watcher over this planet and whatever else you call yourselves when they are committing one of the greatest sins by killing other beings? Please ask yourselves these questions, your higher self already knows the answer.

Wake up to yourselves, do you really think you can save the world, heal this planet, heal others and continue to kill innocent beings the way you are doing now???? You know you are fooling yourselves don't you?????

My message here is "WALK THE TALK" you are either a "SPIRITUAL" loving, caring being or you are a normal meat eater with a lot of Karmic Debt or Sin (for Christians). How do you think your debt to those poor souls are going to be paid? What about this Planet Earth?

What about the Commandment in the Bible "THOU SHALL NOT KILL"? Isn't this clear enough?

Many say that the Indians are very spiritual beings, well they are however they are only on the first or second level, please read about the five levels below. To pass from the second to third level one needs to be Karma Free and with all the killing of those innocent beings it is impossible to progress towards being a total "Spiritual Being". Just on the second level there are many powers such as magic, astral travel, healing powers and more, this does not make one "ENLIGHTENED". An "enlightened being" is a totally "Karma Free Being".

Cosmology

The first level ASTRAL

The first level of enlightenment, corresponds to the subtle, or “Astral” level of heaven. It is said to be the emotional level. The Astral level is made up of many varied sub-levels. Souls at this level occupy the astral body and are bound by feelings and emotions. It has at least 6 kinds of miraculous power (e.g. clairaudience, clairvoyance, telepathy, precognition, healing and astral travel)

The second level CAUSAL

The second level of God-knowledge is the “causal”, or intellectual level. The most striking abilities that one achieves are eloquence and highly developed IQ. The Physical, Astral and Causal levels make up the "three worlds". Although the Astral and Causal levels might seem increasingly magnificent according to human conception, the three worlds are said to be still mainly under the influence of dark forces.

The third level DEBTS (KARMA)

Only after clearing all the debts (karma) of the physical world, then the soul could go beyond the three worlds and is said to be liberated from the authority of the dark forces. However the worlds of the third level are still not everlasting and although the soul is not required to enter the physical world again, if it wishes to perform good deeds in order to climb further into the eternal world. At this level the soul has creative power and still "believes itself to be something which it is not"(ego).

The fourth level SOUL REALIZATION

At the fourth level, the soul is said to be highly realised and with greater degree of freedom. At the peak of the fourth level is a vastly dark region, like a pitch black city night. The only light comes from the souls existing here, which are waiting for a chance to encounter a master to show them how to enter the fifth level. The fifth level cannot be entered on account of any merit gained as can the levels below it. A fifth or above level soul must accompany a soul wanting to enter this level therefore that soul must already be on the Fifth or above levels.

The fifth level ENLIGHTENMENT

The fifth level is the origin of all individual souls. Here we experience eternal happiness and unchanging joy and here we have absolutely reunited with our essence..

People come into our lives for a reason, a season or a Lifetime!

When someone or something is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to
meet a need you have expressed (either consciously or unconsciously) .
They may help you through a difficult time, to provide you with guidance
and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, financially or
spiritually. Other times people or situations have been sent along to
challenge you and ask you to "step up to the mark", to realise how strong
you are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without
any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will
say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they
die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take
a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire
fulfilled, their work is done.

Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to
share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you
laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give
you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a
season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build
upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept
the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all
other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind
but friendship is clairvoyant.

It may not always be apparent to you at first as to which category they
fit into. But always trust that there is a purpose to your experience.
When you know which one it is, you will know what choices to make, what to
do for that person or whether to keep them/it in your life, or whether it
is time to let go and allow it to move out of your life.

The "Open, Sesame!" of Life

There is a Napoleonic feeling of power that insures success in the knowledge that this invincible "Life Principle" is behind your every act. Knowing that you have working with you a force which never yet has failed in anything it has undertaken, you can go ahead in the confident knowledge that it will not fail in your case, either. The ingenuity which overcame every obstacle in making you what you are, is not likely to fall short when you have immediate need for it. It is the reserve strength of the athlete, the "second wind" of the runner, the power that, in moments of great stress or excitement, you unconsciously call upon to do the deeds which you ever after look upon as superhuman.

But they are in no wise superhuman. They are merely beyond the capacity of your conscious self. Ally your conscious self with that sleeping giant within you, rouse him daily to the task, and those "superhuman" deeds will become your ordinary, everyday accomplishments.

It matters not whether you are Banker or Lawyer, Business Person or Clerk. Whether you are the custodian of millions, or have to struggle for your daily bread. This "Life Principle" makes no distinction between rich and poor, high and low. The greater your need, the more readily it will respond to your call. Wherever there is an unusual task, wherever there is poverty or hardship or sickness or despair, there is this Servant of your Mind, ready and willing to help, asking only that you call upon him.

And not only is it ready and willing, but it is always able to help. Its ingenuity and resource are without limit. It is Mind. It is Thought. It is the Telepathy that carries messages without the spoken or written word. It is the Sixth Sense that warns you of unseen dangers. No matter how stupendous and complicated, nor how simple your problem may be - the solution of it is somewhere in Mind, in Thought. And since this solution does exist, this Mental Giant can find it for you. It can Know, and it can Do, every right thing. Whatever it is necessary for you to know, whatever it is necessary for you to do, you can know and you can do if you will but seek the help of this Genie-of-your-Mind and work with it in the right way.

GRATITUDE

The first step toward getting rich is to convey the idea of your wants to the formless substance.

This is true, and you will see that in order to do so it becomes necessary to relate yourself to the formless intelligence in a harmonious way.

To secure this harmonious relationship is a matter of such primary and vital importance that I will give some space to its discussion here. I will give you instructions which, if you follow them, will be certain to bring you into a perfect unity of mind with God.

The whole process of mental adjustment and atunement can be summed up in one word: gratitude.

First, you believe that there is one intelligent substance from which all things proceed. Secondly, you believe that this substance gives you everything you desire. And, thirdly, you relate yourself to it through a feeling of deep and profound gratitude.

Many people who order their lives rightly in all other ways are kept in poverty by their lack of gratitude. Having received one gift from God, they cut the wires which connect them with Him by failing to make acknowledgment.

It is easy to understand that the nearer we live to the source of wealth, the more wealth we shall receive. It is also easy to understand that a soul that is always grateful lives in closer touch with God than one who never looks to Him in thankful acknowledgment.

When good things come to us, the more gratefully we fix our mind on the Supreme Power, the more good things we will receive - and the more rapidly they will come. The reason for this is simply that the mental attitude of gratitude draws the mind into closer touch with the source from which the blessings come.

INSIGHTS

"If you doubt you can accomplish something, then you can't accomplish it. You have to have confidence in your ability, and then be tough enough to follow through."

Rosalynn Carter

Former American First Lady

A distinguished American psychotherapist has said that no one, as far as we know, is born neurotic. We learn to become neurotic as a result of our upbringing. We are raised by other human beings and they literally teach us to become neurotic.

If a child is raised to believe that intelligence and beauty are worthwhile traits, and that he is bright and handsome, well, he will tend to look upon himself as "good" and to have a favourable self-concept. But if he is raised to believe that he is stupid and ugly, he will tend to look upon himself as "bad" and to have a poor self-concept.

Our early self-concepts depend upon the concepts that others have toward us. If those who are important in the life of a child generally blame him, he will learn to blame himself; if they consistently accept him, he will learn to accept himself. That does not mean that the self-concept a child first learns is absolutely final and crucial; he can, later in life, change it for better or worse. But it's hard. And this early self-concept is most important, and it does tend to set the pattern for later attitudes and behaviour.

I read somewhere that self-confidence is like a psychological credit card. And I can still remember my mother telling me that I could do anything I set my heart upon. To tell a youngster he or she is great is to give him the kind of self-image he needs to build a meaningful life for himself. Youngsters will discover their limitations, their blind spots, the areas in which they have little or no aptitude, soon enough without our help. Self confidence is a kind of psychological credit card and is of far greater value than any other we can carry. When we see someone who is neurotic, it should elicit our sympathy in the realization that the person was not born that way...he was taught to be neurotic by his elders. Neuroses are like chains that are put on children to hinder them in their development and activities.

CENTRE

THE CENTRE OF ADULT IS ‘U’

The centre of ‘Adult’ is ‘U’.
Only after we have learnt about our self through fully expressing ourself as
a child are we truly ready to share our bountiful being with others.
This state of maturity we call ‘adult’.

Of course many adults have minimal maturity – they’re simply unfulfilled
children who have grown bigger bodies over time and thus assume they’ve achieved

adulthood: their behaviour easily indicates otherwise.

A mature adult doesn’t want to hate anyone – but love everyone.
Doesn’t want to kill anyone = but play with everyone.
Doesn’t want to hurt others – but support them.
Doesn’t want to use others – but be of assistance to them.

A mature adult doesn’t ridicule the divine – but honours it.
Doesn’t willfully destroy the environment – but acts as trustee for it.

Doesn’t abuse others – but cares for them.
Doesn’t denigrate others – but encourages them.

The real adult takes their self-knowing and expresses it in the service of all.
In doing so, they transform the self-interest they had as a child into
self-less interest in the whole of humanity and life.
This is what it means to be spiritually adult.

Whilst the centre of child is “i”, the centre of adult is ‘u’.
The awakening caterpillar has wiggled along the many branches of
self-awareness and has changed into the brilliant butterfly of light.

THE CENTRE OF CHILD IS ‘I’

The centre of ‘Child’ is ‘I’.

Yes, there’s nothing more natural than for a young child to be
all about ‘me, me, me!’

That’s because they’re exploring their environment – and, most importantly
their place within it.

“I” is critical to the natural and healthy development of the individual.

“I” allows the fullest expression of our unique creativity – a most vital
component of optimizing our life’s path.

We are divine beings learning to express the fullness of our potential and
we cannot do this if we are fettered in our self-exploration.

Only when we truly understand who we are can we share the richness of
our being with others.

For most of us, childhood was less then fulfilling – our self-expression
and creativity was stifled by adults who were themselves stifled by restrictions
and demands for conformity and narrowness of perception.

It is surely time for us to break free and explore the wondrous beings
of light, love and laughter which we will find we already are.

Work, play, relationships, sexuality, community and sacredness will then
all be honoured for their divine vibrancy of expression.

Then, and probably only then, will we be able to make our deepest possible
and absolutely authentic commitment to transformation.

God will truly reign again in our hearts.

Long live the child - free and unfettered – within you!

THE CENTRE OF TRUTH IS ‘U’

The centre of ‘Truth’ is ‘U’.

In other words, real truth isn’t what we’re told or
what we read – but what we experience.

You can read a dozen books on how to propagate, keep, cook and distinguish
various kinds of chillies – but they won’t really be your truths until
you propagate, keep, cook or eat them yourself.

The moment you experience a thing for yourself, then you know.

Ditto with lemons.

Ditto with love-making.

Ditto with life.

Ditto with money and marriage and everything else, too.

Our truths arise out of our experiences.

Everything else is simply data, information to supplement our
perspectives – interesting in itself but of secondary value in helping
us live authentic lives, rich with meaning and experience.

Buddha reminded his followers that there was no justification for relying on something as the truth just because others said it was, or it was
written in a book, or people had believed it for thousands of years, or a
supposedly wise person had originally said it, or it was
a supposedly sacred text.

Instead, he urged his followers to trust nothing unless they KNEW it for themselves.

It’s surely a timely reminder for all of us today.

But, please, don’t take my word for it.

Whilst this is my truth it won’t – and can’t – be yours….at least not until you experience it for yourself!

THE CENTRE OF CONSCIOUSNESS IS ‘IOU’

The centre of ‘Consciousness’ is ‘IOU’.

In other words, when we are awake and aware we come from a space
that is rooted in gratitude.

It’s a gratitude that separates the thinking from the thoughtless.

It’s a gratitude that separates the caring from the careless.

And the loving from the unloving.

This is not a gratitude that chains us to some slavish religious belief of inferiority
or which diminishes our self-standing.

It is rather a gratitude – an IOU – which makes us abundantly aware, moment to moment, act by act, thought by thought, that

WE HAVE EVERYTHING TO BE GRATEFUL FOR

This is a sense of gratitude that lifts us up and places us where we truly
belong – on our own two feet.

We become independent individuals capable of constant and awesome acts of human kindness and caring – even whilst we remain inter-dependent and inextricably part of All That Is.

Instead of life being a burden, it becomes a blessing.

Instead of lessening life with mind-numbing drugs and mindless activities we so respect it that our every intention is TO CELEBRATE LIFE!

Instead of waiting for a way out, we eagerly seek avenues to deepen our way in.

This week, simply be aware of where you are – and head for the centre of consciousness. Come join the celebration called life – and be grateful for that IOU, that ability to be aware of who and what you are.

Spirit Rules, OK!

SERENITY

Calmness of mind is one of the beautiful jewels of wisdom. It is the result of long and patient effort in self-control. Its presence is an indication of ripened experience, and of a more than ordinary knowledge of the laws and operations of thought.

A person becomes calm in the measure that one understands themselves as a thought evolved being, for such knowledge necessitates the understanding of others as the result of thought, and as one develops a right understanding, and sees more and more clearly the internal relations of things by the action of cause and effect, one ceases to fuss and fume and worry and grieve, and remains poised, steadfast, serene.

The calm person, having learned how to govern themselves, knows how to adapt themselves to others; and they, in turn, reverence their spiritual strength, and feel that they can learn of them and rely upon them. The more tranquil a person becomes, the greater is their success, their influence, their power for good. Even the ordinary trader will find their business prosperity increase as one develops a greater self control and equanimity, for people will always prefer to deal with a person whose demeanor is strongly equable.

The strong, calm person is always loved and revered. They are like a shade-giving tree in a thirsty land, or a sheltering rock in a storm. Who does not love a tranquil heart, a sweet-tempered, balanced life? It does not matter whether it rains or shines, or what changes come to those possessing these blessings, for they are always sweet, serene, and calm. That exquisite poise of character which we call serenity is the last lesson of culture; it is the flowering of life, the fruitage of the soul. It is precious as wisdom, more to be desired than gold, than even fine gold. How insignificant mere money seeking looks in comparison with a serene life - a life that dwells in the ocean of truth, beneath the waves, beyond the reach of tempests, in the eternal calm!

How many people we know who sour their lives, who ruin all that is sweet and beautiful by explosive tempers, who destroy their poise of character, and make bad blood! It is a question whether the great majority of people do not ruin their lives and mar their happiness by lack of self-control flow few people we meet in life who are well-balanced, who have that exquisite poise which is characteristic of the finished character!
