LIFE - A DECK OF CARDS

What is the meaning of life? This gnawing angst can sour even the sweetest of life's experiences. Our life is not a mystery to be solved but a reality to be lived. This reality is in a state of change, constantly forming, dependent upon causes and conditions, disintegrating and reforming again with its rich tapestry of interwoven experiences imbued from exhilarating peace to mystical death? The boundaries of life are wide, as the ocean is deep reaching from inert matter to body to emotion to mind to soul to spirit to God, to grant us enough scope in our myriad choices through our journey.

Our transcendent being of Spirit cloaks our lower being and nature so that God and His Spirit, permeates and enfolds all creation, interleaving everything in the world and ultimately each other. Our great chain of existence is endowed with the five eyes of material prehension, bodily emotion, mental ideas, the soul's cognition of conscious and spiritual gnosis to enhance our ability, awareness and knowing. To assist our numerous choices in reason, experience, knowledge and morals are our conscience, which is the perfect interpreter of life.

Reason is God's crowning gift to man, whereas virtue is life under the direction of reason, which brings harmony pregnant with dreams. Tantamount to reason weaving, the invocation of passion undoes as this crassness only recognises the eye of reason yoked to the eye of flesh. Yet experience engraves our mistakes in our conscious and these actions are the sculpture of our lives. Faith and belief become our introspective conviction, which is hard to distinguish from knowledge by experience, yet we are suffering today from a greed for knowledge of evil. When we divorce our scruples we feel internal discord and when we pursue ethical behaviour we experience harmony which consummates our worthiness of happiness and this noble happiness emanates from our basic moral instinct in dealing justly with all mankind. The more ardent our moral understanding, the more humane is the blossoming compassion for those languishing beneath the burdens of emotional rubble within their floundering lives.

If you love life, don't squander time as what we anticipate seldom occurs and what we least expect, generally happens. The satire of life is that we are unable to grasp how immense our corporeal existence is but yet we are totally responsible for everything we experience. Real maturing is not growing up but in because when our senses are in alignment we know real joy.

Youth is easily deceived and quick to hope, flaunting incessant intoxication and a fever of the mind. Yet excess on occasion is exhilarating as it prevents moderation from acquiring the deadening effects of routine and boredom, but it is better to live innocently, seek solitude, desire an abstemious attitude, and avoid the wild caprice of fate. We are all locked in by the prison bars of discontent enduring life's perpetual stings, yet when we are distressed by anything external, the pain is not due to the thing itself, but to our own estimate of it. We have the power to revoke the pain at any time afterward releasing our love, which the bitter chastening brings.

With life don't look back something is gaining on you, age and destructive bad habits. Drinking when we are not thirsty and making love at any rime is all that distinguishes us from other animals. Mankind's learning is hollow because it's from mankind and his head is filled with chaff. Life is full of silent tortures and fettered dreams because mans inhumanity to man makes countless millions mourn. Mankind is a destructive rabble alluding to our inescapable necessity to be unceremoniously partitioned off and segregated from the cosmic jungle because if we were released to the wider universe we would create untrammelled havoc. Between life are birth and death and if it were not for hope the heart would break. Our living, our knowing and our loving are all rooted in human hopes.

Success in life comes only when you spend your life in what your hearts desire and righteousness justifies but yet the most beautiful thing we can ever experience is the mysterious flowed by its lucid revelation.

Life is physical, precious and worth living and can transcend to the rare and even miraculous spiritual abode where half empty human beings become one whole, caring, sharing and loving entities of the true life force. This spiritual renascense has a reverent peace and awe for all life and bursts forth from our soul in to the rich and joyous expression of living. We become carved and endowed spiritual beings transformed to real children of God and awaken from the pit of slumberous despair to the sanctity of sacred delight. The fulfilment of the Lord's prayer, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, will happen when through our universal spiritual awakening, we become just one big ocean of love in a womb of perpetual, rapturous enlightenment.

Everything is good when it leaves the Creators hands and everything degenerates in the hands of mankind, as hell is truth seen too late. We are all parts of one stupendous whole, whose body nature is and God the soul.

Life is short, art long, opportunity fleeting, experience treacherous and judgement difficult and like a deck of cards you don't know what hand will be dealt to you next.
